This image is from Antibes, captured during a trip earlier this year. It’s actually from a small shop which had some kind of tiny museum in the basement.

I’ll be away for about two weeks from now, and I doubt I’ll be able to post any photos during the vacation.

I love travelling, and the day before is almost the best one!

Boring weather has kept me inside, no fresh photos on the hard drive. But the upcoming Paris trip is getting closer and closer!

The site design is a little tweaked again – it’s a never ending evolution. A new “Thank You” page is added! I know Macphoto looks like crap in Internet Explorer 6. I really hate that browser – too bad so many people still use it today.

Sunset over Lake Ejen, captured yesterday.

I used the AEB function set to -2, 0 and +2 stops and generated an HDR image of the three exposures in Photomatix Pro. I used a rather gentle tone mapping, I didn’t want that agressive HDR look. The image came out pretty good from Photomatix, but I did some color adjustments in Photoshop and a little cropping to remove a few disturbing objects on the left. I’m pleased with the end result.

This is 333 West Wacker Drive, a 1983 creation from Kohn Pedersen Fox. A glass building which is curved to reflect the shape of the Chicago River and has a green tint similar to the colour of the river in its glass.

Google this address, and you will find many similar photos.
