Rotating Earth

This is the sky of last night, captured during a 50 minutes exposure. It was pitch dark, nothing to focus on and I had had a few beers, so I’m very pleased with the outcome.

I belive I can spot a “falling star” in the original un-resized photo!

Well, this is rather exciting to find, for me! I have just loaded my star trails to my blog. I wan’t drunk at the time when I did mine. I was asleep, most of the time. Yours turned out better! So maybe if I stay up and have a couple of drunks?? kidding.

You did this with a 50 minute exposure. Grreat! I am going to try this next summer on digital. If I try it now the lens fogs up.

How do you keep the lens from fogging up?

I would bet you have some nice ‘Northern Lights’ phoots too!
